30 seconds And Counting – Networking That Works

You are in a roomful of business people or your shop is filled with customers and you are trying to make quick, positive impressions on potential clients or customers to close a deal. You don’t have much time to get it done. How to make it happen?

Join the Washington Business Improvement District for a special luncheon presentation on Thursday Oct. 10 Enzo’s Pasta Grill, Route 57, Washington. The Lunch ‘N Learn starts at 11:45 a.m.

Guest speaker Greg Stewart of NexGen Management will offer several tips on how to make a 30-second networking connection work. Expect to have some fun, too, with some interactive activities. It is highly recommended that attendees bring business cards and be ready to work the room!

“Typically you don’t have a lot of time to get your point across,” noted Stewart, a longtime business consultant and a former Chamber president. “But with some strategic planning and preparedness you can do it!”

Stewart is the co-founder and President of NexGen Management, LLC. In 2003, after more than 30 years as a top performer in sales, sales management, operations and product management/marketing in the global high tech industry, he started this Professional Services Consulting and Executive Coaching firm. NexGen Management specializes in providing hands-on leadership and guidance to Business Owners and Managers in improving the professional management, business operations and financial performance of their business of all sizes with a focus on “the People, the Process, and the Tools”.

Cost of the luncheon is $15 per person in advance, $20 at the door, which includes food and beverages. To register go to www.washingtonbid.org. For more information email admin@washingtonbid.org or call 908-689-4800.
